Deep Inside Somalia (Exploring Remote Regions of Somalia)

We drove from Burao through Somaliland’s desert roads to the capital, stopping in Sheik, a supermarket, and a roadside café. We explored local infrastructure, mobile payments, qat sales, camel milk, and the reactions of people to seeing us with a camera. In Hargeisa, we visited a cookie bakery run by a woman from Sardinia, discussed life and business in Somaliland, and shared a meal of traditional Somali food.
