Delhi's Secret Tibetan Colony | Majnu-ka-tilla

We explored Majnu-ka-tilla, a Tibetan refugee colony in northern Delhi, learning about its origins after the Chinese invasion of Tibet and the arrival of the Dalai Lama in India. We browsed shops selling Tibetan clothing, food, handicrafts and Buddhist items, and visited monasteries with prayer wheels and religious artwork. We also sampled Tibetan tea and reflected on the colony's peaceful atmosphere and distinctive culture.
