Discovering The Beauty Of Georgia

We explored the ancient cave monastery and fortress of Vardzia with Geo, learning about its monks, wartime refuge, dining customs, tunnels, and artwork brought from India along the Silk Road. We climbed through the restored church and narrow passages, drank water connected to local beliefs, and took in the spectacular views from the highest levels. We then traveled to a nearby city, checked into a guesthouse, and prepared to continue toward the border.
