Do Tourists Ruin Travel? | Angkor Wat, Cambodia

We woke up before dawn to watch the sunrise at Angkor Wat and saw thousands of tourists competing for the perfect photograph. We compared this crowded experience with quieter destinations and argued that tourists do not ruin travel. We explained that tourism supports local economies and that famous places attract visitors because they are worth seeing.
