Eating Fried Crickets in Yangon, Myanmar

We are in Yangon, Myanmar, where we buy fried crickets from a street vendor and share them with a local friend. We remove the wings, overcome our hesitation, and try the crickets with sugar cane juice and peanuts. We find that they are not bad and taste somewhat like shrimp.
