Eating In A Chechen Cafe

We visited a small cafe in Grozny and tried lakman, a dish of meat, vegetables, and pasta, followed by goulash with mashed potatoes. We ate in a private curtained room, sampled complimentary fruit and sweets, and found the meal tasty and inexpensive, although the tea was disappointing. We then left to explore the city centre.
