Entering America's German Town

We travel from Seattle to Leavenworth, Washington, a small town in the Cascade Mountains modeled after a Bavarian village. We explore its German-style architecture and atmosphere, eat pretzels and bratwurst, drink beer, and learn about its popularity during Christmas, Oktoberfest, and other festivals. We reflect on how the town feels like a European experience while taking precautions during COVID-19.
