Entering America's Most Conservative Amish Town

We travel through Holmes County, Ohio, with Lizzie, a former Swartzentruber Amish woman, and meet members of less conservative Amish groups along the way. We visit Lizzie’s childhood home, where we see how her family lives without electricity or indoor plumbing, including their cooking, bathing, laundry, farming, and food-preservation practices. We hear Lizzie describe her childhood, her decision to leave the community at 19, and the complicated relationship she now has with her family and church.
