Entering Kandahar | Afghanistan's Taliban Capital

We traveled to Kandahar, explored its historic bazaars and shrines, and visited a pomegranate farm during harvest season. We also climbed the ancient citadel, met nomadic families, and experienced the city’s daily life and hospitality. After losing a phone and enjoying fresh pomegranate juice, we reflected on an unexpectedly memorable two-day visit.
