Entering Mogadishu | World's Most Dangerous City

We return to Mogadishu to explore how the city has changed since our first visit and to meet locals who describe life amid ongoing security concerns and signs of recovery. We visit Lido Beach, take a boat ride, see the historic lighthouse and city monuments, and learn about Somalia’s civil war and colonial history. We eat camel meat, visit a mosque and local markets, and speak with residents about religion, safety, diaspora communities, and their hopes for Mogadishu’s future.
