Entering Syria in 2025 | New Government in Power

We entered Syria from Lebanon and explored the changes unfolding after the fall of Bashar Assad’s regime. We visited Damascus, the war-damaged areas of Jobar, and the abandoned Sedenaya prison, where we learned about the conditions endured by political prisoners. We also explored Damascus’s old city and Umayyad Mosque, spoke with residents celebrating the new era, and traveled north toward Idlib to investigate former regime sites and the abandoned Iranian embassy.
