Entering The 4th Poorest Country in the World

We explore Madagascar, learning about its unique wildlife, tropical landscapes and the severe poverty affecting much of the population. We travel from Antananarivo to the rural village of Talata, where we visit the marketplace and speak with people who sell rice, peanuts, garlic and second-hand electronics to support their families. We also learn about the challenges faced by university students and reflect on appreciating the opportunities and comforts we have.
