We visited Banjul and saw its buildings, markets, coastline, beaches, jungles, palm trees, and wildlife while experiencing the intense heat and humidity. We appreciated the welcoming people and natural beauty, but we also discussed the country’s rundown tourist areas and disturbing sex tourism industry before leaving for Senegal and Dakar.
