Entering The Land of Baseball (Dominican Repbulic)

We explore how baseball is deeply woven into Dominican culture and represents hope for young people seeking to lift their families out of poverty. We visit the Arizona Diamondbacks academy, meet young prospects, and learn about their training, dorms, education, and slim chances of reaching the major leagues. We also speak with a former professional player about his career in Major League Baseball and overseas.
