Entering The World’s Most Dangerous Island (Socotra)

We spend 100 hours exploring Socotra, beginning in Hadibo, where we visit the fish market, meet locals, try Yemeni food, and learn about the island’s culture and challenges. We travel through rugged landscapes to see the rare dragon blood trees, camp among them, and visit a tribal village where we meet the sheikh. We also explore Calencia, learn about local life, limited infrastructure, and qat chewing, and discover why the island feels peaceful despite Yemen’s ongoing conflict.
