In this video, we journeyed from the Caribbean coast into the remote Colombian mountains to visit the Kogui tribe. We began by traveling to Santa Marta, then took a motorcycle to a farm where we spent the night before embarking on a six-hour trek. Along the way, we experienced the demanding ascent, stopped at an indigenous coffee farm, and eventually reached the Kogui territory after securing special permission, where we were welcomed by the Mamo with a coca infusion and protective bracelets.
