Everest Base Camp Day 2 - Huge Swing Bridge

We trek for about seven hours from around 2,600 meters toward Namche Bazaar, passing through local villages, the national park entrance, prayer flags, and dramatic mountain scenery. We cross a huge swing bridge and climb steeply to Namche Bazaar at approximately 3,443 meters. We explore the town, visit its market area and highest Irish pub, and discuss plans to acclimatize at the Everest View Hotel and possibly visit the Sir Edmund Hillary School the next day.
