Exploring Hong Kong's Poorest Building (Chung King Mansion)

We return to Hong Kong and explore Chungking Mansion, a crowded 17-story building in Kowloon known for its South Asian communities, markets, restaurants, businesses, and inexpensive guest houses. We meet residents and visitors, learn about the building’s history and reputation, and see the extremely small rooms and cramped living conditions. We also sample the building’s multicultural atmosphere and discuss its importance as a hub for food, commerce, and migrant communities.
