Exploring Iran As An American Tourist

We began our seven-day road trip in Shiraz, visiting the Pink Mosque and the ancient ruins of Persepolis while speaking with locals about Iranian history and culture. We then traveled through the countryside, meeting Kashgai nomads, learning about their traditions and changing way of life, and sharing a meal with their family. Finally, we continued toward Esfahan and spoke with residents about safety, daily life, tourism, and the contrast between Iranian society and government restrictions.
