Exploring The Lost City of Petra | A Rollercoaster of Emotions

We explored Petra, walking through the Siq to the Treasury and learning about the city's history, architecture, and Bedouin culture. After waiting out heavy rain, we hiked 850 steps to the Monastery and enjoyed spectacular views with almost no one else around. We ended the day exploring Petra after dark, although Petra by Night was canceled, and reflected on how the unexpected weather ultimately made the experience even more memorable.
