Exploring the Super-Rich Arab Country Nobody Goes To

We spent three days exploring Oman with no fixed itinerary, beginning in Muscat and visiting the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, a hot spring, a local fish market, and nearby towns. We were welcomed by Mohamed, who showed us local places, and later met Bidr, who drove us safely through steep mountain roads to Snake Canyon and the lush village of Balzait. We experienced Omani hospitality, learned about local traditions and prayers, and joined Ammar for a prayer in a remote mosque.
