We explore the base camp of Mount Vinson, Antarctica's tallest mountain, and learn how people live in tents in extreme cold and constant daylight. We see the sleeping tents, improvised toilets, clothing and hygiene routines, and the communal area where snow is melted for water and food is prepared. We also learn how the camp gets electricity from solar panels and how all trash and human waste are transported back to Chile. Finally, we leave the camp to attempt the climb of Mount Vinson.
