Finally, I Have Arrived in Happy Yemen – The Land of Hadramout | Yemen

We explored Sayun, Shibam, Tarim, and Wadi Dawan in Hadramaut, learning about the region’s history, mud-brick architecture, Islamic culture, traditional tea, mandi, and famous Sidr honey. We visited an apiary, met local residents and international students, and experienced Hadrami hospitality and traditions. We then traveled to Al Mukalla and Ash Shihr, sampling local seafood and street foods, touring the coast, and witnessing a traditional wedding procession while hearing about Yemen’s challenges and hopes for peace.
