Finding the World's Loneliest Person

We spent four months searching for people living in extreme solitude and visited three of them in the mountains of Italy, the forests of Sweden, and a remote Greek island. We met Flaminio, who has lived alone for over 50 years; Eric, who built a self-sufficient cabin in the woods; and Mrs. Rinho, who has lived alone on her island for a decade. Through their daily routines, homes, and stories, we explored the difference between being alone and feeling lonely, and how purpose and connection with nature can bring peace.
