First Day Back In The Philippines

We landed in the Philippines and traveled from Manila to Tacloban before driving into Samar Province to visit Sohoton Cave, part of Asia’s second-largest cave system. We explored the cave formations, learned some Waray phrases, and kayaked through a beautiful river surrounded by limestone cliffs. We also enjoyed a traditional Waray meal featuring coconut milk dishes, eggplant, grilled pork, shrimp, and rice.
