First Day in Lebanon (Nate Got Sick)

We began our first full day in Lebanon by exploring Beirut, enjoying fresh falafel, observing the city’s scooters and street life, and visiting buildings marked by the country’s civil war. After Nate became seriously ill and spent nearly two days recovering, we resumed our exploration at the modern Beirut Souks, the bullet-ridden Holiday Inn, and the waterfront Corniche on our way to Pigeon Rock.
