First Day in Lisbon!

We explored Lisbon after arriving tired, finding coffee and pastries, wandering through quiet local streets, visiting the Praça Marquês de Pombal area, and stopping at a pharmacy for parasite medicine. We walked through the tourist-filled center and spent the afternoon exploring Alfama, one of Lisbon’s oldest neighborhoods, before choosing local food over visiting the castle for sunset. We ended the day with gazpacho and grilled sardines, despite some stomach trouble, and headed back to our apartment to meet friends and pick up a new camera the next day.
