First Impressions of Cuba! Exploring Havana with a Local

We explored Havana on our first full day in Cuba with our local guide, Cesar, learning about the city’s history, currency, religion, food, and everyday life. We visited landmarks including Central Park, Cathedral Square, the Jesus Christ of Havana, Revolutionary Square, and El Floridita, and tried local dishes such as ropa vieja and fried plantains. We finished the day riding through the city in a 1952 Ford Victoria and reflecting on how much we had learned about Cuba.
