First Impressions Of Switzerland (celebrating Swiss National Day)

We traveled by train from Italy to Switzerland and celebrated Swiss National Day in Zurich with a parade, traditional food, cheese, and a local soda. We wandered along the lakeshore, floated down the river with locals, explored the old town, tried our first Swiss chocolate, and enjoyed a picnic by the lake. Over the following days, we sampled cheese fondue, ate at the world's oldest continuously operating vegetarian restaurant, and finished our time in Zurich with chocolate fondue.
