Foreigner speaking Hindi And Making Friends In India

We stumbled upon a colorful festival in Himachal Pradesh, arriving just after a tent collapsed and caused panic among the crowds. We explored the festival, practiced our Hindi, watched people gather for holy water and free food, and joined the queues for dal and chapatis. We met many friendly people before leaving reminded that the people are one of the best things about traveling in India.
