We left Calangute and travelled to Arambol in northern Goa, bargaining over the taxi fare and learning about the many Russian tourists in the area. We explored the beach, inspected several inexpensive rooms and huts, and encountered a fake ear-cleaning scam. After comparing the options, we chose a basic room near the beach.
