grateful to be alive

We recount returning from Death Valley and heading to Elsinore for a skydive, but after a hectic morning and witnessing an accident, we decided not to jump. On the drive back to Los Angeles, our car was hit, spun, and rolled several times, yet we escaped with only minor scratches while the other driver was unharmed. We reflect on surviving the crash, confronting death, and choosing to live fully and meaningfully while we have the chance.
