Hanging With The Elders Of Dagestan

We return to Saidi Noor’s remote mountain village of Gagatli in Dagestan, where we explore Market Day, meet local elders, visit the village school, and meet his 100-year-old grandmother. We then drive the difficult mountain roads to Botlikh to repair his Lada and take in the Caucasus scenery. Along the way, we learn about local customs, family responsibilities, and the many languages and nationalities of Dagestan.
