Happy Chinese New Year!

We spent our first full day in Taipei exploring the city during Chinese New Year and sampling street food, including fried chicken, squid, pancakes, and other unfamiliar dishes. We visited the Presidential Palace and an ornate temple before exploring the lively Longshan night market, where we tried a Taiwanese hamburger and a mysterious egg pancake. We ended the evening by stopping at a 7-Eleven and observing the festive traditions around us.
