Harvesting Grapes In Italy!

We harvested grapes at Bob and Gina’s vineyard in the Italian countryside, picking 17 rows by hand and loading nearly a metric ton onto the tractor. We took the grapes to a co-op, where they were weighed, de-stemmed, and processed for winemaking, giving us a greater appreciation for the work behind each bottle. We ended the day preparing pork tacos from a shoulder cooked in the wood-burning oven.
