Hello Lebanon! لبنان

We arrived in Beirut after traveling from Budapest through Turkey and received a warm welcome from a local Lebanese man who drove us to our accommodation. We explored the city, saw the contrast between war-damaged buildings and modern skyscrapers, visited a mosque beside a church, met friendly locals, and ate a hummus wrap. We then walked along Beirut’s famous seaside rocks and reflected on Lebanon’s history, hospitality, and relatively high travel costs.
