Hiking Glacier National Park | Patagonia Day 5

We hiked from El Chaltén through Glacier National Park toward Mount Fitz Roy Base Camp, hoping to complete a 13-mile trek with significant elevation gain. Because heavy rain obscured the views, we skipped the steep section to the base camp and followed a loop trail through a mountain valley, passing glaciers, waterfalls, lakes, and a historic settlers’ house. We ate lunch by a lake, enjoyed the scenery despite the weather, and finished the day with hot coffee at our hotel.
