His Job is Hiking Volcanoes (making $4/day)

We hike Mount Nyiragongo in eastern Congo, reaching its summit and seeing the world's largest lava lake after a six-hour climb. We spend the night in a basic cabin while Elias, who works as a porter and chef, carries supplies up the volcano three times a week and cooks for us. As darkness falls, we watch the lava illuminate the sky and learn about Elias's life and work.
