Hitchhiking in Ethiopia (what a day)

We explore Gondar, Ethiopia, walking through local markets and streets after hitchhiking down from our hotel, meeting residents and observing everyday life. We visit the 17th-century royal enclosure of Fasil Ghebbi, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and learn about its history. As heavy rain and hail approach, we take a rickshaw back up the hill and end the day after a memorable series of local interactions.
