Hitchhiking In Georgia Is Wild

We leave Tbilisi by taxi and bus to meet our friend, sampling local food and observing the scenery and hospitality along the way. After failing to rent a car, we hitchhike and take several buses toward the Caucasus Mountains, including a frightening ride with a reckless driver. We arrive safely in an authentic mountain village, explore its rural surroundings, and check into a guesthouse before planning to continue toward Mestia.
