How Americanized are the Marshall Islands?

We arrive in the Marshall Islands and explore the American influence we see in supermarkets, language, sports, currency, products, measurements, television, and everyday infrastructure. We visit a school and learn that its curriculum follows American standards, then explain how the islands' history and the Compact of Free Association created such strong ties with the United States. We also see how the agreement allows Americans and Marshallese citizens to live and work in each other's countries.
