How Can You Survive Quicksand?

We visited Mont Saint-Michel in northwestern France, explored its history as a monastery, prison, and tourist attraction, and learned about the tides and the quicksand surrounding the castle. With a guide, we carefully tried walking and sinking in the quicksand while learning how to escape safely. We also visited La Mère Poulard, learned about its famous omelets, and tasted one for ourselves.
