How Persian is La? (Tehran-geles)

We explored Tehran Jalis, also known as Persian Square, in Westwood, Los Angeles, and learned about the large Iranian community that settled there after the 1979 Revolution. We visited Persian carpet stores, markets, restaurants, and shops selling traditional foods, sweets, saffron ice cream, and other products that reminded us of Iran. We also spoke with local residents about Persian traditions and finished by eating Persian food at a Tehran restaurant.
