I Broke Down and it's a Disaster (Reality of Living in a 4x4)

We explore Cappadocia and attempt to replace the inverter in our Defender before the truck breaks down on a hill with the transmission stuck in second gear. We have Odyssey towed to a mechanic in Turkey, learn that several transmission parts need replacing, and wait through the repair while exploring the town and learning about car mechanics. After a successful test drive and a repair costing about 550 US dollars, we get back on the road, only to break down again with another transmission problem.
