I Entered the Most Dangerous Mountain Road in Pakistan

We leave Islamabad before sunrise and drive north through Pakistan’s lush valleys, rivers, mountains, and high-altitude towns such as Naran. We travel along the Karakoram Road toward Nanga Parbat, known as Killer Mountain, learning about its dangerous weather and climbing history. To reach the mountain, we switch from cars to jeeps and horses, crossing narrow roads and steep terrain before returning along the same route.
