I Entered the World's Largest Banana Empire

We visited Ecuador's vast banana farms and the port area where bananas are produced and exported around the world. We followed the process from cutting the bunches from the trees and transporting them by cable to quality checks, cleaning, grading, labeling, packing, and shipping. We also learned how banana plants reproduce and how important bananas are to Ecuador's economy.
