I Entered the World's Largest Rice Kitchen

We explored Tashkent and learned how enormous quantities of Uzbek plov are prepared with rice, meat, carrots, raisins, and traditional cooking methods. We visited a famous restaurant, tasted the dish, and discovered Uzbekistan’s bread culture. We then traveled to Samarkand and sampled samsa baked in traditional tandoor ovens, including homemade versions filled with meat and onions.
