I Faced Predatory and Dangerous Hyenas in Ethiopia!!

We traveled through Ethiopia’s Danakil region, where we watched Afar salt workers cut salt by hand and load it onto camel caravans, then visited the colorful and toxic Dallol Volcano. We explored the ancient walled city of Harar, learning about its history, culture, religious diversity, and relationship with wild hyenas. We met the hyena men and approached the animals as they were fed, before seeing them enter the city’s streets at night.
