I Found South America's Hidden Paradise (Cuenca, Ecuador)

We explored Cuenca’s colorful colonial old town, admired its historic churches from above, and learned about the city’s high-altitude setting, UNESCO status, and environmental efforts. We visited a market to try local foods such as tortillas, humitas, and salchipapas, then enjoyed music, freestyle performances, and a traditional afternoon snack. We were surprised by how much we loved this hidden gem in Ecuador.
