I Found the Most Isolated Tribe in Laos

We travel to northern Laos, passing through Luang Namtha, difficult roads, and a vibrant local market before reaching a remote Akha village near the borders of China and Myanmar. We share food and drinks with the villagers, try rat, learn about their daily lives and spiritual beliefs, and join their music, dancing, games, and celebrations. We also observe how modernization is changing the community and threatening some of its traditional clothing and customs.
